A banker, a growth hacker and a developer walk into a bar... what sounds like the start of a good joke actually describes the moment Insure A Thing became more than just an idea.
Since then we have joined the Startupbootcamp InsurTech accelerator program and are enjoying every chance to tell people about our concept. Reactions generally range between “that’s a bit weird" to "why hasn’t it always been done like this"? A question we wholeheartedly support.
In a modern world where businesses are constantly challenged by innovators, how could it be that the insurance sector is still run on principles set up centuries ago? An industry that lives comfortably off its legacy structures has little incentive to change - until they have to.
We have made it our mission to build a product that our customers can trust whilst taking out several layers of costs so that we can offer better rates.
